Food was good and a good portion for both adults and kids. A bit on the greasy side though. Service was fast and friendly. Got there about 9:30am and got seated immediately. Nothing special but nothing bad to say. Would go back.

Wow. I've never received such horrible service. It took her forever to come over and take our order. Our food came pretty quickly and it did taste really good. However our waitress didn't even check on us once during our meal. She just came over at the end and asked if our bills were together or separate. One of the ladies I was with never got her toast that was suppose to come with her meal but we never her a chance to say anything since she never checked in with us.

Reviews like this I feel fully justified in writing as I hold the management of such establishments directly responsible. On Saturday, we detoured to grab a quick bite to eat and after seeing Denny's, we assumed we could expect a decent breakfast and some coffee. Firstly, our waitress was the best part of the visit. As I sat, watched, and listened to her interact with other customers, it was clear she was someone who liked people and enjoyed doing her job. So kudos on a good hire Dennys. The food we received was fine, I had the meat lovers omlete and my wife a skillet. A little light on the ingredients but editble. The coffee...GOD awful and weak. One cup tasted as bad the previous. Coffee....if you can't get that right you probably are not getting a lot of other things right. I excused myself to go to the lavatory, and that is where the train jumped the rails. I broke one of my cardinal rules about dinning out. I always visit the lavatory (bathroom) to see how clean it is. In this case, the place smelled terrible, the floors were filthy and unattended. Next to the kitchen the bathroom is the MOST important place to keep clean. To anyone reading this make this a regular practice and do not eat in retaurants where the bathrooms are basically out houses with running water. For management reading this...your lack of attention to this speaks volumes about why your coffee is bad and... why as we were finishing our food, I heard and saw a girl looking into her food. She called her friends attention to her concern, and together they pulled..and pulled...and pulled hair(s) out of their sandwich. That pretty much sealed the deal for me, I left a cash tip and we gathered up our things and left (paying of course). 1. Watered down, burnt tasting coffee = no one paying attention or monitoring the quality. 2. Unclean restroom facilties = no one paying attention of monitoring quality and safety 3. Hair in customers food = no one paying attention and monitoring food prep and quality Denny's normally is very reliable and a good place to grab a satisfying meal on the go. So I am not flamming the Denny's brand of restaurants. However, this particular one needs to be called out. Don't be so desperate to eat that you subject yourself unknowingly to a place that may not have your health and best interests at heart. If they will cut corners on the aforementioned three points, then what else are they possibly cutting corners on? Food storage? Ingredients? Temperature of dish washers cleaning the silverware? I hope someone from Denny's reads this and decides to look into this restauratn. Denny's is a great brand and this restaurant does not live up to its historic reputation.

4 adults and three toddlers. Pro: good food and food came out 15 to 20 minutes after ordered ( light customers) Con: servers sucks. 1. Before we got seated, we asked for a booster seat. Never got it. 2. Server came took order, we asked again for the booster seat. Never got it. (We just got up and grabbed one ourself. 3. Never came for drinks refill. 4. Missing a lot of sides. (Kept trying to flag them down but we've been ignored). Towards the end of our food, they finally came to asked and given our sides. ( still missing sides, so we asked again) finally! After finishing our meal, our last side got to us) *french fries* Wouldn't come here again.

Sunday's are VERY busy here, however we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was really nice and attentive even though another waitress took one of my friends food that was ready to be taken out and brought it to one of their tables. That's really shady. Felt bad for our waitress. The food was good, great portions and the price was decent. I like the "retro" feel of this diner. Being that it's in the Dells they could have put some more decorations/items up on the walls, etc, aside from just the fake Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, etc outside. I'd come back here again. :)

Saturday morning at Denny's. The staff seems overwhelmed and no one is really showing any sense of urgency. Our server took the drink order, brought the drinks, asked if we needed cream for our coffee and then took the food order and of course forgot about the cream. The food was great, except our inexperienced server wasn't familiar with the menu (come on, it's Denny's!) and had to fix two orders. Be patient if you go.

If you dont mind waiting over an hour for your food to come then this is the place for you. The cook didn't show up for the breakfast shift. Also one waitress didn't show up. The person who came to cook was inexperienced and was also busing tables and pouring coffee. What a nightmare. No manager present and the poor waitress had to deal with all this. When the food came it was ok.

This review is for the Rock and Roll Denny's chain restaurant right by the Wilderness hotel and water park, in Wisconsin. Filthy menu and seat. Waitress kept asking to box our food even though we were less than half way through our meal. Only one other family in the restaurant, yet we were seated at the worst booth with no window view. The breakfast sausage was very overcooked and inedible. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. The guy at the register could barely be bothered to accept our payment. These people want their restaurant to fail and are proud of it

Terrible Service and even worse food. Didn't refill our 1.99 coffee. Didn't refill sodas. Food was cold. Bacon was not Bacon.... It was "paper crumpled up with grease on it" Potatoes were disgusting. Chorizo was so disgusting. Just terrible, waste of our time and money. Wish I could give it Negative stars!
